Gero Hensel is teaching trumpet at the Eichstätt University.

From 2012 till 2018 Gero Hensel was a regular tutor and the lead trumpet player of the Big Band at the Frankfurt University of Music and Performing Arts. 
 
He is also a teacher for trumpet and is giving workshops for Big Bands and Small-Group-Jazz-Ensembles.
